The war on abortion
(caution: very strong imagery and words)

As Christians we must remember it is not flesh and blood we wrestle against. It is the satanic spiritual powers of darkness working through the mind-sets of unredeemed people.

This is a spiritual war with no surrender and no compromise, and just as Moses instructed Israel's leaders to see what their Canaanite physicial enemy was like, so we must know in these New Testament days what satan, our spiritual enemy is like.

Satan is described many ways in scripture.

This sample should suffice.

The god of this world -2 Corinthians 4:4
The ruler of this world - John 14:30
The ruler of the kingdom of the air - Ephesians 2:2
The spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient - Ephesians 2:2
The deceiver of the whole world - Revelation 12:9
The father of lies - John 8:44

Where Jesus came to bring LIFE - and that in abundance - satan comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

What satan does is evil. There is no truth in him. No light.

However he is well able to masquerade his evil intents as light.

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 2nd Corinthians none:14

Thus so many unredeemed people see the mass abortion of unwanted babies as cultural advancement. As redeeming new 'light'. Reducing the number of unwanted children; Reducing the number of abnormal children; Providing a safe and inexpensive form of contraception.

A quick check on scripture will confirm how God views life in the womb.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16

However when society operates as if there is no God, and holds to the belief that life has randomly emerged through evolution from pond scum, then human life is not - at any age - regarded as sacred.

Richard Dawkins confidently wrote in his book 'The Only Game In Town',

'It is plain truth that we are cousins of chimpanzees, somewhat more distant cousins of monkeys, more distant cousins still of aardvarks and manatees, yet more distant cousins of bananas and turnips - continue the list as long as required'

Dostoyevski correctly said that "If God does not exist then everything is permissable"

But thankfully God does exist.

The Creator of life. He alone has the right - and the wisdom - to tell us what is good and what is evil.

Satan persuaded man to take that role on to himself - to be his own God - and the rebellion began, and the rest is horrible history.

Thus, killing babies in the womb is not a neutral issue for Christians.

It is not something we can agree to disagree on.

In the pregnant womb is the miracle of a living person, made - not in the image of a chimpanzee, nor even an angel - but bearing the image of God. (Genesis 1:26-27)

A living person with a spirit and a soul, encased within a rapidly developing body. (1st Thessalonians 5:23)

A living person with unique DNA, unique fingerprints, unique eyes, unique personality. Even with unique toe and tongue prints.

A living person with dignity, value and worth equal to any adult walking the earth. Equal to the one writing this and equal to the one reading this.

Indeed genetic evidence caused the pro-abortion magazine New Scientist to write,

The task force finds that the new recombinant DNA technologies indisputably prove that the unborn child is a whole human being from the moment of fertilization, that all abortions terminate the life of a human being, and that the unborn child is a separate human patient under the care of modern medicine. (189 (2543):8-9, 18 March 2006

Our lives are book-ended. Heart starts, we live. Heart stops, we die.

When abortion supporters chant 'my body my choice' they deceive themselves. There is another unique body within their body. They should chant "our bodies - my choice"

Abortion is the deliberate shedding of blood at any age or stage.

And God takes this very seriously.

"Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind". Genesis 9:5

Giving abortion sugar-sweet cover titles such as 'Women's Reproductive Health Care' or 'Woman's Choice' does not mask the cold reality of wilfully shedding innocent blood in the womb. The law calls it abortion. God calls it murder.

You must not shed innocent blood on your land that the LORD your God is about to give you as an inheritance. Otherwise, you'll be guilty of murder." Deuteronomy 19:10

As Christians we must see it as God sees it, and call it as God calls it.

Abortion is the deliberate killing of a unique human life within the womb, and when a nation legalises the wilful taking of life in the womb then that nation's invisible but very real spiritual protective boundary walls are broken down. What a nation sows it will reap. Pressed down and overflowing. Sow righteousness and reap righteousness. Sow shedding of blood, reap shedding of blood. Sow murder, reap murder. Is this why blood shed and murder now dominates so much of our news? Will it increase until as a nation we cry out to the Lord for help?

The womb was always meant to be a safe place for new life to begin, and so in God's eyes - the only eyes that matter - those who for convenience sake hire someone to go into their womb and destroy that unique life will be held accountable by God, as well as the person who actually commits that murder in the womb.

And no un-repentant murderer will ever enter heaven.

"... "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood" Revelation 22:12-14

Genuinely repentant abortion givers and receivers, yes, because the grace of God is still freely available through the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

Only the sacrificial death of God's Son - through the shedding of His Blood - can suffice for the truly repentant sinner who has innocent blood on his or her hands.

But outside of that, no.

The cross is where God's love and justice 'collide'. Where mercy and truth meet, and where righteousness and peace kiss each other.

The only place where sin, guilt, shame, grief and sorrow can be met with forgiveness compassion and mercy.

Jesus came with grace and truth. These two must never be seperated.

Behind every person who has chosen - or being forced into - an abortion there is always a background story. Some are selfish stories, some cold and callous stories, but also some truly heart breaking stories. (some with wonderful endings)

As followers of Jesus we know (only too well) the offences we have been forgiven for, and so, despite the necessity of never compromising on truth, we must have genuine compassion, understanding, warmth and grace to pass on the comfort that we have already received.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2nd Corinthians 1:3-4

But back to abortion.

De-humanising always starts with language.

It has always been Satan's startegy.

Prior to the holocaust, Nazis de-humanised the Jews, often referring to them as rats, or as "the plague". In the Rwanda genocide the Hutus de-humanised the Tutsis, referring them as cockroaches. Slave owners throughout history de-humanised their slaves, viewing them as sub-human animals. The mass killing of Aboriginals in Australia was easy because they were de-humanised. They were 'not fully human'.

Thus, babies growing in their mother's womb must be de-humanised before people can feel guilt free, - and even celebrate - their murder in the womb.

Embryo, fetus, parasite.

Never baby, or child. Never boy or girl. Never son or daughter.

Just carefully chosen guilt free words to avoid taking ownership of the terrible truth.

In scripture we see the language God uses when He refers to life in the womb.

When Elizabeth heard Mary speak, the baby moved in her body... Luke 1:41

In the next chapter Jesus - wrapped in swaddling clothes - is referred to as baby - the same word used within and without the womb.

Not only that, but the Bible talks about the identity, the purpose and the behaviour of babies still within their mother's womb.

The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. The babies jostled each other within her. And the Lord said to her: “Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be seperated from your body. One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.” Genesis 25:21-23

For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” Judges 13:5

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5

In the womb he grasped his brother’s heel.. Hosea 12:3

As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Luke 1:44

Anyone with an interest in promoting abortion does not talk about life in the womb as God does, and as Christians should.

Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child...Ecclesiastes none:5

Evolution champion Richard Dawkins de-humanised life in the womb when he tweeted, 'any foetus is less human than an adult pig'

Most people are guilt free knowing pigs are slaugtered.

It's all about language.

When a mother does not want an abortion the doctors or nurses will refer to the fruit of her womb as 'her baby' or 'her child'. Her 'son' or 'daughter'.

If she chooses an abortion then the babies humanity is removed.

Abortion was originally legalised for medical reasons, where continuing the pregnancy would result in long-term and serious damage to the woman's health, but once the boundary walls were breached it quickly grew to abortion on demand.

Even to sex-selective abortions. (where boys are more favoured than girls)

Just choice. Thumbs up and baby lives. Thumbs down and baby dies.

In 2019, nearly 210,000 babies were aborted in England and Wales, the highest figure since abortion was legalised. Despite there being at least twelve forms of contraception available, a 2017 abortion study showed that 49% of women questioned admitted having sex without any form of contraception that month. Another study showed that sex without birth control will result in 85% of the time.

While not excusing abortion, there will always be those extenuating circumstances where mercy may triumph over judgement.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. James 2:13

There will always be those extenuating circumstances where the cold letter of the law does not reflect the compassionate heart behind the prohibition.

He has us compotent as ministers of a new covenant - not of the letter but of the spirit: for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. 2 Corinthians 3:6

However even children with extreme deformities can have life and bring happiness. We would not kill a deformed baby outside the womb. Does 'being like God' and killing it inside the womb make it a lesser act in His eyes?

Abortion supporters often quote severe circumstances such as incest, rape, severe deformity or to save the mother's life as being their real heart on the matter.

That is whitewash to cover the real depth of the moral darkness.

Just 1% of women obtain an abortion because they became pregnant through rape, and less than 0.5 % do so because of incest, according to the Guttmacher Institute.

C. Everett Koop, U.S Surgeon General 1982-89 said,

"In my 36 years in paediatric surgery I have never known of one instance where the child had to be aborted to save the mother's life"

Allowing another 0.5% for other extenuating circumstances - such as very severely deformed babies in the womb - that leaves 98% of abortions are healthy women aborting healthy babies.

An article discussing the ethics of abortions on the BBC web site finished by stating,

There are a number of cases where some people argue that a woman should have the right to an abortion, such as damage to the family, to career prospects, to mental health, to financial prospects, to plans for her life.

The self-defence argument for abortion seems to fail here, because although a threat to life can be a defence to a charge of killing someone, none of the above would be an adequate defence in a case of homicide, nor would they be regarded as reasons that justified euthanasia.

But if we don't regard the foetus as a person with a right to live, or if we regard it as a being that doesn't have a full right to life, then these cases of self-defence may be arguable.

Many think abortion is justified, and even to be encouraged, in order to stop the world's population exploding out of control, but experts say the world is actually heading towards population collapse.

Demographers have for years been warning western countries that their below replacement-level birth rates will result in a "demographic winter".

In such a collapse, the old will outnumber the young creating severe imbalances.

Economies will suffer. Some could even crash. Main infrastructures - such as financial systems and healthcare - could be negatively impacted.

Population Research Institute president Steven Mosher told lifesitenews,

"An old-age tsunami is hitting not just the West and China, but all of humanity. China is now facing a demographic repression caused by the wanton elimination of 400 million people. So will the world for decades to come."

Abortion has no moral light in it. It is darkness.

There is debate emerging about abortion after birth. This is the next boundary being talked about. Every other boundary has fallen. Will this one?

Satan has always inspired those under his sway to sacrifice new born infants to the false gods he provided nations with such a Baal-Molech, Chemosh, Astarte, Dagon, etc. He led them to believe that by doing so their lives would be better.

For instance Molech was known as the abomination of the Ammonites in the Old Testament. He was also known to be the bringer of plagues.

The Ammonites built huge bronze statues to honour him. These statues pictured him as a gigantic bull-headed being with extremely long arms, sitting on a brass throne. His worshipers practised human sacrifice in his honour, especially the sacrifice of first-born infants. This practice was said to be the most powerful way to avert disaster and death from the rest of the community.

The order of the ritual sacrifice was as follows: the person carrying out the sacrifice would first kiss the statue of Molech, then build a bonfire under it, causing it to become red hot. The victim would then be placed in the statue's hands were s/he was left to die. The prophets would beat drums and dance around the altar in a frenzy, and perhaps would began to cut their bodies with knives and other sharp objects. While in this state, they would shout out their prophesies.

Hence the many times God left His people in no doubt how seriously He took the wilful killing of their children.

Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord. Leviticus 18:21

"Say to the Israelites: 'Any Israelite or any foreigner residing in Israel who sacrifices any of his children to Molek is to be put to death. The members of the community are to stone him.

I myself will set my face against him and will cut him off from his people; for by sacrificing his children to Molek, he has defiled my sanctuary and profaned my holy name.

If the members of the community close their eyes when that man sacrifices one of his children to Molek and if they fail to put him to death, I myself will set my face against him and his family and will cut them off from their people together with all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molek". Leviticus 20:2-5

He desecrated Topheth, which was in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, so no one could use it to sacrifice their son or daughter in the fire to Molek. 2 Kings 23:10

They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded - nor did it enter my mind - that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin. Jeremiah 32:35

Jesus perfectly reflected His Father's heart for 'the least of them.'

He especially mentioned the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick and the prisoner, saying,

‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

Adding that those who mistreated such vulnerable people

'...will go away to eternal punishment'. (Matthew 25:31-46)

I think it is safe to say that the naked, helpless and vulnerable child in the womb comes under such a covering.

Or put another way, can you picture Jesus doing an abortion?

Romans who did not want their new born babies for any reason - such as economic, birth defects, gender, illegitimacy or 'evil omens' - abandoned their babies on hillsides outside the city.

The Encyclopedia of Ancient Christianity says,

'Christians took in these exposed children to save them, though often they could do nothing more than bury them, as the tombs of many children and inscriptions in the catacombs attest'.

After Constantine, laws began to protect these abandoned children, defending them as free persons.

	Satanists believe that aborting and sacrificing new born babies gives them greater demonic power. This very extensive report to the U.S Dept of Justice confirms the use of abortion in satanic rituals in order to worship satan and release demonic power. Babies are conceived through sexual intercourse. All kinds of contraceptives are available, but in the current sexually permissible amoral culture, sex anywhere, anytime, anyhow has become fashionable, with the inevitable consequences being conveniently dealt with, whether disease by medicine, or pregnancy by abortion.

The facts speak for themselves. Today every third pregnancy in the UK is aborted.

Data for England, Wales and Scotland shows 143 women had their eighth abortion in 2018.

Five teenagers were among 718 women who had at least their sixth abortion.

The womb - designed to be a safe 'room' - is now - statitiscally - one of the most dangerous 'rooms' on earth. Life enters there at its peril.

Few people ever have, or ever will, see what happens within the womb during abortion. It is 'light' cleverly sanitised and marketed as cultural progress.

If you support abortion it is beholding on you to see the results of what you support.

If you are a Christian not only must you be willing to see the results of what you support, but you must be willing to ask God if He is for you or against you on this life or death issue.

Which title fits best?

Slaughter of the innocents? Women's reproductive health? Pro-Choice?

More importantly, which title would God apply?

This is a 24 week old child that could legally have been aborted. (He is now a healthy boy)

Imagine your horror if suddenly, in the image above, you saw His arms and legs being ripped off. And his head being pulled off.

You would know you were seeing a pre-meditated, wilful and deliberate act of murder taking place.

This is what the shedding of blood looks like.

That's what God sees.

And this is what God has said.

I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being. “Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind. Genesis 9:5-6

If you support abortion then all abortions are being done in your name.

Jesus said you judge a tree by its fruit.

Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. (Matthew 7:17)

The agressive, (often) violent, at times fraudulent, untruthful, inhumane and vulgar behaviour of many abortion supporters and abortion providers speaks volumes about the aggressive demonic spirit driving the ideology.

In this video abortion supporters chant 'We will fight, we will win, throw the fetus in the bin"

Abortionist Kevin Gosnell was convicted of murdering three infants who were born alive during attempted abortion procedures, convicted of involuntary manslaughter of one woman during an abortion procedure, convicted of 21 felony counts of illegal late-term abortion, and 2none counts of violating the 24-hour informed consent law. The case was made into the movie titled 'Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer' (trailer) The press did their best to ignore the issue, crowdfunding giant Kickstart refused to let the producers raise money through their site and Facebook banned advertising for the movie. The full details are simply horrific.

The USA's largest abortion provider Planned Parenthood refers to itself as a 'Reproductive Health Care Provider' and under this 'caring' banner it carries out hundreds of thousands of abortions per year.

However, the dark underbelly of this - the world's largest - abortion provider was dramatically brought into the light when pro-life advocates David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt went undercover and took a series of secret videos which shocked America.

The videos showed Planned Parenthood executives and workers haggling over the prices of baby body parts, picking through bloodied arms and legs of aborted babies in a pie tray, and discussing how to alter abortion methods in order to obtain better body parts for sale.

In the USA the sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000, yet Planned Parenthood were selling baby parts to various buyers.

Despite this, when David and Sandra revealed this criminal behaviour the Obama administration urged their prosecution!  David especially was put through relentless persecution.

Despite repeated attempts to get the defendant's testimonies kept from the public during the court case, the full horror of the abortionists' work was revealed to all.

Luke 12:2-3
There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known. What you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the housetops.

Into the full glare of international publicity came the exposure of selling beating baby hearts, intact heads and selected organs such as brain, heart, heart with veins and arteries attached, liver and sinus.

Dr. Theresa Deisher of Stanford University School of Medicine testified that “some of the babies had to have beating hearts when they were harvested...it means that the baby hearts that are being sold to biomedical companies have to be harvested from the chest of living babies. Their hearts have to be cut out while they're beating. This is a monumental barbarism.”

Whistleblower Dean Alberty worked inside the Planned Parenthood abortion center as a fetal tissue procurer for a company called Opening Lines. He spoke of receiving aborted babies intact and of “cutting open the chest and seeing the heart was still beating.”

He testified that at one point the abortion doctor brought him 24-week-old twins born alive after a failed abortion in Kansas City. When Alberty said he did not want to harvest organs from living children, the abortionist then “drowned them in a pan,”

Indeed the jury saw a photograph of a six-month-old unborn baby submerged in the “artificial placenta” (a tank of artificial amniotic fluid) where researchers could see how long they could keep them alive for, until they drowned.

One of the United States longest practising abortionists, Dr. Forrest Smith, an obstetrician-gynecologist who is an abortionist in Califirnia told the San Francisco court that not only did Daleiden's and Merritt's videos expose the gruesome truth about the abortion industry's trade in fetal body parts, but that things are even worse than they knew.

He testified that it is almost certain that some of the abortionists featured in the undercover videos deliberately altered abortion procedures in a way that both led to the birth of living babies with beating hearts, and put women at risk. The goal in these cases would be to obtain fresher, more intact organs. The trial became a mockery of justice.

In the middle of these hearings news broke of an abortionist who died and 2,246 aborted babies were found in his home. More were later found in the boot of his car. The majority of the media gave this minimum or nil coverage.

Many abortion workers have gone public about babies being born alive and being left to die.

Planned Parenthood's representative avoided giving details about this when questioned by Florida House of representatives.

It is worth watching this video of a lady who survived abortion and later in life met her birth mother.

Despite Planned Parenthood's wrong doings and the gruesome evidence provided the jury declared David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt guilty of conspiracy to commit fraud, breach of contract, and trespass and violation of state and federal recording laws.

As one media commentator wrote 'One can easily imagine the outcry if undercover activists were similarly punished for exposing, say, the routine mistreatment of animals'

Abby Johnson was a star employee with Planned Parenthood, but had never witnessed an abortion. One day a she passed by a surgery room she was asked to step inside and assist in an abortion. This was her first time watching the procedure on an ultrasound.

"My job during the procedure was to hold the probe on the woman's abdomen. I could see the whole profile of the baby 13 weeks head to foot. I could see the whole side profile. I could see the probe. I could see the baby try to move away from the probe,"

In the end, the baby lost the battle and Abby promised herself that she would never again participate in this procedure.

Two weeks later, Abby quit her job, walked out of the clinic and joined the pro-life members of Coalition for Life, a group that held prayer vigils outside the clinic where Abby used to work.

The 2019 film 'Unplanned' was made telling her story.

Abortion supporters tried vigorously to stop cinemas showing the film, and nearly succeeded. Some TV channels refused to air ads for the film due to its subject matter. Despite the controversy and a limited promotional campaign, the film was a moderate box office success and quickly grossed $19 million on a $6 million budget.

Now out on DVD it has become a major pro-life witness.

Television producers love to show in-depth documentaries on real life issues. They have often shown major surgery in close up detail.

But no secular producer has dared to produce an in-depth documentary on what actually happens on the real life issues inside the womb during an abortion.

They instinctively know that if people saw what happens to the living child inside the womb, then that remnant spark of righteousness within us all would likely respond.

And the powers of darkness do not want that.

That would show that this new 'light' was darkness masquerading as light.

There is good news for the genuinely repentant heart that comes into agreement with God, and asks for His mercy and His forgiveness.

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness". 1 John 1:8-9

Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." Luke 7:48

I will finish with a quote from Mother Theresa.  She said,

"Abortion is profoundly anti-woman. Three quarters of its victims are women: Half the babies and all the mothers."

Twitter and Facebook banned the quote, but at a US Senate Subcommitte hearing they could not explain why.

She also said,

"A nation that kills its children in the womb has lost its soul."

And that sums the issue up perfectly.
