Update on current occult activities

Here a huge amount of video tape has been cut into dozens of sections and tied along approx 20 metres of busy motorway roadside

Gone are the days when it was just the odd length of cursed audio or video cassette or video tape tied along a hedge outside a church. (though that is still used - see left)   Now many everyday items such as plastic bags, plastic bottles, hubcaps, mud flaps, cigarette broken glass, bricks and pieces of wood are being ritually powered (cursed) and then laid along road sides with special attention often being given to dangerous bends, junctions and roundabouts.  Churches [example] and Christian leaders homes are also heavily targeted.

Example of  'occult powered' plastic bags that are often hooked on to trees, bushes, fences and hedging throughout Britain and Ireland. The deliberately planted material is normally well affixed at dangerous parts of a road - and unlikely to be rubbish that simply blew into that position.

Items collected in the vicinity of a Christian gospel singers home. Cassette tape, new plastic bags and long lengths of clear plastic (often knotted at intervals) pushed in and out of nearby hedging. My own home (situated on a quiet road with very little car or foot traffic) has, in the past, been the target of such material. Over one interestingly intense period of six months we had plastic bags hung in the front and back garden, cassette tape partially buried  at the bottom of our steps, strips of plastic partially buried around the house, stones set against the house, feathers stuck in walls and gravel, broken glass sprinkled around the perimeter of the garden, plastic bottles, old tennis balls, foam plastic, etc. set along the kerb outside. A hub cap with an engraved pentagram design was hung up opposite the house, with with the two points of  the five pointed star facing upwards (indicating satanism as opposed to witchcraft) On one occasion,  during some awful winter weather, we even had leaves with 'scary' faces cut into them hooked on to branches next to our house!  The home where our ministry school meets on a weekly basis had a wreath set at the front door.  Inverted crosses with three '6''s at the base, plus occult writing, had been marked on the previous traffic bollards and road signs nearby.  The local newspaper has carried advertisements using thinly veiled language inviting people to join a 'paranormal and occult research group - only serious people need apply'    We know of at least two occasions when satanists sent one of their members to infiltrate meetings (on one occasion trying to get the address of members and visiting speaker)  This rubber snake was carefully set at the centre of the entrance to the farm we often use as a ministry centre in Southern Ireland. We have had the lid of a black magic box (chocolate box) left outside one of our meetings as a 'calling card'.

It is safe to say that occult activity is greatly on the increase. 

As an experiment we removed 'suspect' roadside material in one 500 metre stretch of road every night for about ten days only to see new stuff return to roughly the same spot within 24 - 48 hours.  (As a demonstration to a somewhat disbelieving minister who was staying with us, I removed an object from outside our home as we left in my car and assured him that from experience something else would appear roughly at the same spot within 2 days. I was wrong. When we returned home two hours later a new object was there. He was flabbergasted) On one accession I slipped a note reading 'What you sow you will reap. Run to Jesus for mercy'under a stone being used to anchor a length of cassette tape on this stretch and both the rock and note were gone within two hours. When the Lord eventually showed me how to pray into this, it finally stopped in my immediate area.

This cursing of these items is simply the counterfeit of Acts 19 where Paul prayed blessings on to everyday items and sent them out to bring Kingdom of God blessings. Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them   Acts 19:11 Unless it is in your home, or littering your garden or the footpath outside your home then there is little point spending your life picking it up!  God protects us. What the darkness is doing is always the secondary issue. Like vultures gathering around a dying animal it is always a marker upon the nation showing that there are serious righteousness and sin issues that need dealt with.

Plastic bags and plastic strips are attached to branches along country roads.

When God's people walk uprightly before Him the land abides in peace. However scripture shows again and again that it when we - God's people - persist in refusing to walk before Him in obedience that the enemy comes in like a flood.

When Ehud was dead, the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan   Judges 4: 1

When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7: 13

But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me, ⁴¹and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt— ⁴²then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember; I will remember the land.    Leviticus 26:40

The darkness that comes in like a flood into an individual's life or a nation's life is simply a marker that there are legal rights for it to do so.  For instance, scripture shows that when God's people break a covenant it effects the land. E.g 2nd Samual 21

Scripture guarantees that a curse cannot land without a cause (Proverbs 26:2) so begin restoration by ensuring that you are not a carnal Christian!  Make sure that their is nothing 'unclean' in your home would cause God to turn away. 

"When the army goes out against your enemies, then keep yourself from every wicked thing. If there is any man among you who becomes unclean by some occurrence in the night, then he shall go outside the camp; he shall not come inside the camp. But it shall be, when evening comes, that he shall wash with water; and when the sun sets, he may come into the camp. Also you shall have a place outside the camp, where you may go out; and you shall have an implement among your equipment, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and turn and cover your refuse. For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you. Deuteronomy 23:9

Servants of the Lord need not have any fear at all of these cursed objects.  Ungodly fear (revealing a lack of faith in God's promise to be your shield) can invite oppression.

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake."Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy.No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the Lord.   Isaiah 54:13

If you trust God and shelter under His sure promise no harm will befall you - no disaster will come near your tent.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.  Psalm 91:9

It is written, and God will always do His part. Do what God says and receive what He promises.
